I have been researching on cars recently as i wanted a new ride; and finally came into conclusion that Honda seems pretty good and reliable. Although Toyota has captured the market for ages as one of teh best and reliable automobiles, Honda has shown great potential. Well how do you know that your ride is Hot? In 2007, around 331000 Americans purchased Honda Civic. Guess what? 51000 stole this ride, we can see how popular it is now.. In 2008, the civic sales went up by 16%, thus making it honda’s engine. With GM losing almost $15 billion quarterly and even Toyota slashing pickup and SUV production, Honda is considered to be in high gear, reporting record profits and sales upto 3% this year. Its sad that overall the US auto sales ar down by 12%. Honda has been all about mileage. Honda always refused to build any V8 Engine; it was a good decision indeed. Honda dealers are now putting all buyers on their waiting lists. The company is building up more companies; recently they planned to set up one in Indiana to keep up with the flow. Honda is planning to release a small hybrid priced around $20k which is said to have better mileage. It is also said to attract more fuel conscious consumers from the United States. Honda gets most of its sales from Japan and USA. But there has been always a question in our mind. Can honda keep up and develop high-tech electric cars in the future. The Answer remains obscure.. But as for now Honda is real popular especially when the gas price is rising. A woman was sent on a test drive ona civic; she never came back. I suppose she fell in love with the ride.
